The Rats want to bring this country down. They will NEVER support any plan that would take us toward the goal of energy independence...
The Dhimmiecrats today announced their counterproposal, S.2959, the Lock-up America and Turn Out the Lights Economic Destruction Act of 2008.
Key provisions of the bill:
*No more oil exploration, production, or refining allowed in the USA because it contributes to Gorebull Warming.
*No more mining for coal or anything else allowed in the USA because its dirty.
*No more tree cutting in the USA because the trees are pretty.
*No more nuclear power production in the USA because we said so.
*All home thermostats set to zero to decrease energy use.
*Immediate amnesty for illegal aliens.
*Conservatism, Christianity, and heterosexuality is hereby outlawed.
*No more guns in the hands of American subjects.
Lets see, did I miss anything? Have at it.

Sadly, we needed it passed when Republicans had the majorities, not now after average Americans are made to suffer.

The private sector has no wish to invest its own money in building nuclear plants and wants government (tax payers) to come up with the money, guarantees, and insurance. What would you call that? Free market socialism?

Don’t see any of those Greenies, better known as Democrats on that sponsor list. Everybody knows we need this bill, but those gutless politicians wont let it pass.
Anything we try will be tied up in court for years.
why not go into a full court press to get this passed and signed into law asap.
We did it to remove amnesty, let’s try it on the energy bill. I’m writing my three today!
