Historically Locke has been a black high school. There are probably Mexicans that have moved into the area. So I would suspect it was between the Chicano’s and the Black’s.
Yeah, according to the kid/witness interviewed in that TV news report (post #18) it was a brawl between "the blacks and the browns".
