Well it was a wonderfull graduation ceremonmy the youngest daughter last night. Now that she has here Masters hopefully she can get a really well paying job and I can retire:-) As it has been a strange last few days we are going to reach into the ol Grabbag once again for pictures for tonight's Sortie. So on with the pictures...
It's almost an all Glenn Alderton picture night tonight for the Saturday Sortie. Glenn's Website can be found at (www.warbirdz.net) so if you have the time drop by and look at the pretty pictures.
First up this nice shot of a Commenwealth Aircraft Corp P-51.
I got this pic a couple days after the ANZAC posts, it gives the viewer a good idea of just how small the Australian Boomerang fighter really is.
A restored Aussie Canberra bomber is caught by Glenn'as cameras just before touchdown.
Glenn's comment on posting this picture of a DeHavialnd Caribou was that he had to pan the camera backwards(?) to get the shot.
Another pic from down Oz way this one by Daryll Gibbs if my memory does not fail me. A restored Cessna A-37 Dragonfly is caught on takeoff by Daryll's camera.
Look closely at this picture for it is not what it seems.
The F9F Panther above is actually a large scale R/C model. This picture was taken at the 2008 R/C Top Gun contest in Lakeland Florida. More great pics, I like the B-25!!!, and a short video at (R/C TopGun)
Since it's Saturday night I reckon I oughta post a bonus pic since I have been kinda slackin on those these last feew weekends.
Read the tag on the howitzer size (HERE)
I am having to work some O/T tonight so replies may be limited but ya never know. Hope everybody has a great week out there and with a wee bit of luck we will see y'all next weekend
Regards
