Obama trolls House, but Altmire remains neutral

TRIBUNE-REVIEW By Salena Zito

Rep. Jason Altmire said his baseline for a decision to endorse Sen. Hillary Clinton over Sen. Barack Obama would be if Clinton managed to reach somewhere close to a delegate tie with him when the primaries were over.

"She earned her right to continue the campaign when she won in Pennsylvania and won my district," he said.

Altmire said even after her loss in North Carolina and slim win in Indiana, she still has that right.

"It's a long shot, I understand that, but I still want to give her that opportunity to finish this." he said.

Obama made the most of senatorial privilege Thursday, May 8, by visiting the floor of the House, home of more than 200 superdelegates, many of whom have not declared support for Clinton or Obama.

Altmire said Obama signed autographs and spent about a half an hour talking and joking with a swarm of members.

Congressional Quarterly is reporting that Obama claimed that he wasn't campaigning.

"I was just saying hello," he said.

Obama's visit still did not sway Altmire who said that the Clinton-Obama race was just about all that members were talking about after Tuesday May 13's results.

"She still has a reason to stay in, until she does not, I am not endorsing."

Baby face Jason owes his house seat to George Soros, the same guy who bought Obama his senate seat. We recall the wall-to-wall television advertising in the Pittsburgh market in 2006 and know that nobody has that kind of money to buy media in a six congressional seat market without outside help and lots of it.

Let me tell you what gripes me so much. These black folk fought in the streets and shed blood for the right to vote. Now they have it and they march into the voting booth like blind sheep (90%) and almost ALL vote Democrat! Doesn’t anybody think for themselves? How can they ALL vote in such monolithic numbers for a party that has done NOTHING for them? The Dems have absolutely taken their vote for granted and I dare ANY of them to show me ONE THING the Dems have done for blacks when they have the power. If they would just give Republicans a chance to prove they are the party of ALL Americans, maybe, just maybe, we could convince thinking blacks that Republicans want ALL to better themselves. When McCain goes to them and asks for their vote, he is accused of “pandering”. But Barack and Michelle is one of them. Yeah! They make over a million a year in income but they are one of them! We can’t win with these folks. When a black man or woman succeeds in business, they have participated in the American dream. Rev. Wright lives in a gated white neighborhood while he mercilessly criticizes America, the country that provided the liberty for him to spout off his nonsense and not go to jail for it. Have him try that in Iran, or Russia. That’s my views and I would like some feedback, please. Am I alone in my views?
