I saw the second one hit. I'm not a fainting kind of woman but I almost did then. I just sat on my couch with unfolded clothes in my lap and cried and cried. I called hubs and had him go and pick our little girl up at school so we could all be together.

On the 11th of every month I pull out my box of 9-11 magazines and read through a couple of issues or pop one of the tapes I recorded of news that day into the player and remind myself why we are fighting the war.
