Among Enviroes, blaming global warming is just a knee-jerk reaction. In this case they just kind of lumped it in with other things. Of course, nobody seemed to include the fact that ARGO buoy temp measurements have show over the past several years NO ocean warming at all and even a slight cooling. But why let facts get in the way of a good spin?

I walked 18 holes on a golf course Saturday, and got a blister on my heel because of manmade global warming.

If I want to know if temperatures are rising, I measure CO2 levels. That tells me if things are getting warmer.
If I want more data on whether temperatures are rising, I measure shark attacks. This can confirm that temperatures are rising.
Now, you may be asking me why I don't measure temperatures if I want to know if temperatures are rising. Well, that would be stupid. Temperature measurements show no upward trend, and they may show an actual decline -- so obviously this would not be an effective way to meaure any rise in temperature.

I just heard a report on the radio this morning that said the polar pack ice is thicker this year than in any year since 1970. Who knows, if we can keep Al’s hot air contained for another 6 months, we might enter a new ice age.

Letters are appearing in many coastal newspapers asking them to report on the dangers of a new trend. That is, triathletes practicing their swimming outside the surf line in the morning and evening. When one does that he is, in essence, serving himself up on the shark buffet. But the newspapers are not reporting this as it does not make as good copy as the global warming baloney.

The sharks on the east coast also follow migrations of bait fish along the coast. Many of the bait fish pods swim right along the shore line. I used to live on the east coast of Florida and the shark fishing during spring migration was FUn.

Thought they would blame it on over fishing, thus creating a need for smaller limits and other restrictions for anglers.
On a side note why do you need a fishing license to salt water fish off the coast of Florida? It’s not like they stock the d*mn things or anything, why should a state be entitled to all that money for nothing?

I’ve noticed that I have been sweating more and more since the month of May began and can only conclude that it’s due to human induced Global Warming. The fact that normal seasonal changes in weather patterns this time of year and that the Sun’s radiation is hitting the Earth nearly straight on (as opposed to at an angle in Winter months) should not be considered.
