I feel the same way. I just hope we can recover:( With the illegals and socialism getting a “real” foothold we may not.

Pardon me, but your ignorance is showing. You don't understand Newt's position on "global warming" at all, do you. You don't understand Newt's position on "global warming" at all, do you.
No, your ignorance and naivete is showing. I watched Newt in that pathetic global warming "debate" with Kerry. He gave the entire FRAUD/HOAX credibility. And Newt's commercial with Pelosi did the same thing. Then he tries to give some lame statement to pacify dupes like you...

The “they” you are referring to that gave us McCain were the MSM and democrats who switched over. That is the reason that operation chaos is so much fun. They are getting what they gave us.
McCain wasn't my choice but NOTHING will stop me from voting for him in Nov.

They refuse to understand that about 50% of the electorate is dependent on the taxpayer, via the govt.
Those people will vote for the dem.
Now, we have untold numbers of illegal residents, many of whom are probably voting, and who have been indoctrinated into believing they are entitled to certain things.
They, too, will vote for the dem, no matter who it is.
The rest of us working class stiffs are nothing but a paycheck to them.
Yet, somehow the RINO’s believe they can capture some of that vote on “issues.”
The gimme constituency doesn’t care about issues.
They want bread and circus tickets.
The RINO’s spend too much time in the DC Echo Chamber, and it looks like they will remain there until their socialist replacements boot them out.

Please Newt STFU, you lost ALL your creds with your global warming crap. I sure hope it was worth it you POS sellout.If you understood Newt's "global warming crap" you'd ask the mods to delete your post.
But some carry such raw hatred for Newt that personal and intellectual shame have no meaning to them, particularly when they are grossly and/or laughably wrong.
It's the same mental flaw we see with McCrazy every day.

We are quickly headed to a one party political system.
We are close.
I use this analogy:
The political system is becoming like pro football. It used to be 2 distinct leagues: National and American.
A few years ago, they merged into one league with two 'conferences': NFC and AFC.
Based on their actions and policies on major issues the last dozen years, it becomes more difficult to distinguish Democratic from Republican.
- Both parties wallow in open-checkbook spending;
- both parties are pushing for amnesty and open borders;
- both parties are pushing globalist policies and international/UN laws/courts/taxation;
- both parties have bought in to the global
cooling warming climate change hoax.
The question becomes: who do you prefer to bend over for -- the Democratic Conference or the Republican Conference?

“These are the same people that allowed a conservative from my district who wanted to close the border to lose to a liberal Democrat last time. They refused to support the party's nominee. This was after he defeated their hand picked Rino candidate in the primary. And they meddled in that too.”
This Republican disarray,IMHO, is caused by Soros-type money interfering with everything...

"This has all the hallmarks of a Bob Dole campaign." That was my first reaction when it became clear he would be the nominee.
I'm not so sure now primarily because of the exposing of each other that BO and HRC continue to do.

Gingrich is far right compared to Bush or McNut.

Sorry but McCain is about exciting as watching the grass grow. Obama would eat McCain alive. McCain is NOT going to win. Socialism will win unfortunately.

"People here need to chill out. We won some recent house elections in VA and OH and lost others."
Problem. Those were already our seats. What's troublesome is that we haven't won back a single House or Senate seat from the rodents since before 2006, and they've already picked up 2 more of our House seats (neither of which had gone Democrat since 1974 and 1972, respectively, one of which was the seat of the former Speaker) and perhaps a 3rd may fall by next week.

Gingrich is far right compared to Bush or McNut.I'll try to remember that next time I see the ad with Newt hanging out on a loveseat with Pelosi, calling for action to combat 'climate change.'

That is modern politics in a nutshell. Did I miss anything? No, that seems spot on from my vantage point in the bitter clinging South. Term limits would go a long way in my book.

Hey, King Juan McCain has decreed that his campaign will NOT malign Emperor Obama with criticism (fair or not, it seems). How can we lose?

Aw crap, how many of those scared Pubbies think the answer will be to lurch left? I wonder if Newt told them to embrace glo-bull warming?
