Bill, who did a marathon of nine events on Monday in North Carolina to no avail, could be seen behind Hillary, wearing defeat all over his face.

Anything covering up a significant portion of that unfortunate mug is, by definition, dearer and more valuable than rubies. ;)

When she made it a point last night to say she would back the Democrat candidate, whomever it was, and then when her campaign canceled everything on her calendar for the next two days, that told me it was over.

She blinked.

R.I.P.

"eminently"?

Maybe she will drop out imminently then.

“...wearing defeat all over his face.”

Nice turn of phrase. Almost makes up for “eminently”.

>> Obama will quietly inch closer to the nomination in the coming weeks.

That’s cool. He can be beaten like a drum.

I just hope it takes MONTHS (not weeks) — as in, until the Denver riots oops I mean the Dem convention.

Never forget that the DemocRAT credentials committee is controlled by Hillary's flying monkeys.

She is not through by a long shot.

The DemocRAT convention is going to look like Atlanta right after Billy Sherman's visit.

The hate-America dirt that's come out about Obama's associates is exactly the same hate-America dirt that's in the Clinton's background.

So how could the Clintons' be waiting for something to come out about Obama that will de-rail him when his background tracks with the Clintons' background?

His positions? The same as the Clintons. Though the Clintons' Isflamist (what they say is flam) connections are really evident here vis-a-vis the "war on terror" for example. Do you even have a position on the war, Hillary?

I am sure all this has been said before. It's the crux of the matter.

The only real difference is race and Obama's apparent popularity among Islamists -- neither of which the Clintons will touch.

Someone should write their Thesis on this highly insightful article....

anybody who still thinks that Obama cannot take a punch, needs to ask himself why a such a political novice is on the verge of taking down the once-indomitable Clinton machine.

I'll take a crack at answering this one: The once-indomitable Clinton machine was never indomitable... Dems just ignored the reality that we on the Right had seen since 1992: they are all liars and tramps. Isn't it amazing that it took this run for the presidency for the supposedly smart and sophisticated Dems to wake up to that reality. And number 2: Obama was and is a political novice -- he's the perfect "nothing" candidate that Dems and many independents have been hoping and waiting (and praying?) for. He doesn't stand for anything specific just everyone's hopes and dreams. And maybe that will carry him to the presidency. God help us if he does (or doesn't), but if he does become president, we will see what magic elixer he'll bring to Washington and bring the "change we can believe in!" What utter BS.
