Hi — I’m Eric Rager and I’m still a Freeper. I stumbled on this thread when I was googling my son Matthew’s name. Thank you all so much for the prayers and for participating in this thread.
Matthew is doing miraculously well. His one-year scans were clean! My former testicular cancer was Stage 1 and the statistical prognosis is excellent.

God is so good to us. We truly believe all that has happened to us is by his design — God is Sovereign of all that happens and has allowed this wave of Cancer to hit our family for wise purposes — we have to trust that through our tears and fears. Although we have doubtful moments, too many miracles have happened in front of our eyes to lose faith or lose trust in His glorious plan.
Our present endeavor is starting Christ and Cancer, a Christian charity to minister to families facing a cancer diagnosis. There’s too much sloppy theology out there that leaves some sufferers wandering adrift in a search for hope and peace. The charity is also providing short-term housing to families traveling to the Texas Medical Center in Houston for treatment.
Our web page etc will be unveiled officially on August 1, 2008. The bare bones of it are getting done daily.
