Actually, Rush Limbaugh’s goal is to prolong the Democrat contest for as long as possible, regardless of who becomes the nominee. And it’s actually a clever idea.
I agree and I think the stragedy is working pretty well, the problem here is the Rush-bashers keep insisting it's really a "secret" plan for Rush to elect Hillary. What they don't get is the only reason is that Rush is saying pull the lever for Hillary is she is lagging behind Obama in delegates and party support and the MSM is pimping for Obama so Rush says to vote for the 2nd place candidate to bloody up the 1st place candidate as long as possible. If the situation was reversed and Hilderbeast had won most of the states and was ahead in delegates with the MSM fawning over her but Obama was putting up a good fight and refusing to quit, Rush would be urging people to vote Obama and bloody up Hillary.
It's in the best interests of conservatives to keep the Dem contest going as long as possible and hopefully produce a big stalement and bitter fight all the way thur the Denver convention. Historically, whenever this happens (Stephen Douglas/John Breckenridge 1860, Teddy Roosevelt/William Howard Taft 1912, etc.), the party with the divided convention loses. For all we know, Hillary could "steal" the nomination from Obama and he'll run on a third party as "The People's Democrat", resulting in a huge GOP win.
And yeah McCain is RINOish and a douchebag, but who knows, we could end up with Mark Sanford as V.P. and John Bolton as Secretary of State.
All three choices for President are lousy, but anything that keeps the commie RATs firing ammo at each other instead of the Republicans can only be good for us.
In short, we need Hilderbeast to contest this race as long as possible (see my tagline).
