McCain: Focus on illegal immigration hurt GOP's image And Bush and McCain's decision to stand with the Mexican government and their illegals, against America, split the Republican Party and continues to do so today.

I honestly don’t think either party really cares ...
Exactly what I have been saying.
They are now pursuing an agenda, and elections are just speed bumps.
so are we.

And he was right. What he forgot to mention is that the government in Mexico City should move to D.C. Our government is more favorably inclined to govern in the interests of the Mexican national than it is in ours.

I was right thinking years ago the fix was in, and it don't matter a whit about laws or what Americans demand.

The problem is that there is a ring of truth to what McCain is saying. A lot of anti-illegals GOP Senators and Congressmen went down in flames in 2006.. Arizona's "English Only" referendum got passed without anyone being mad at Republicans:
2006 election
Arizona Proposition 103:
English as Official Language
Yes...No...Full AZ
74%...26%
Yes...No...By race
79%...21%..White
80%...20%..African-American
48%...52%..Latino

Well...explain away! I live in a AZ and work in Phoenix, so I’m very close to the immigration problems. What exactly did McCain say in that interview that you found so distubing? Enlighten me. Or do you just hate him so much that you post whatever he says as an opprtunity to call him names?
To: pissant
The title is incorrect. McCain is a Democrat.
Thank you.

Of course he does, what compassionate conservative would be against a bunch of people who have no right to be here from crossing our border? Certainly not John McCain the democrat nominee of the republican party(and he wants us to vote for him)

McMistake!!! "Humanely" doesn't mean complete capitulation of our laws you fool!!! Mexico certainly isn't scoffing at their own laws like you Senator McMistake!!!
What a disappointment the Republican Party has become is such a brief period of time by putting this miserable excuse for a candidate forward!!! I'm not wasting my vote on him!!!

Ok...now I see it! it isnt’ what McCain actually said...that was ok....but rather, it gave you and opportunity to post something by him and then proceed to “flame away”. That’s cool...
