Well...explain away! I live in a AZ and work in Phoenix, so I’m very close to the immigration problems. What exactly did McCain say in that interview that you found so distubing? Enlighten me. Or do you just hate him so much that you post whatever he says as an opprtunity to call him names?

We aren’t talking about ‘immigration’ problems.

I live in Michigan and I'm close to the immigration problem too. Standing in the check out at the tractor supply store in Jackson Mi. this morning and was behind a hispanic kid with a big ole "13" tattooed on the back of his neck.

Seems that living along the southern border doesn't mean a damned thing as far as your credibility is concerned. I'd be happy to tell you about how we're being overrun by Canadians but it just isn't happening.

so I’m very close to the immigration problems.

Screw that noise!
I have a home in Pa, deep in the burbs and there are illegals walking down the freaking streets at night!

You can’t swing a dead cat at a construction site without hitting some mexican who does not know that you don’t sh*t in the paint cans.

"McCain said that Hispanic citizens want America's borders secured and illegal immigrants to be treated humanely."

It's all in knowing the code words:
"Humanely" means free pass, front of the line, hard workers, better life, amnesty...and "secured borders" means 'as much of a fence as we're forced into' [plus negotiated rules of access and probably acceptance of consular ID for any purpose]

At this point McCain is in the same boat as Obama - if you refuse to clearly and irrefutably repudiate the albatross hanging 'round your neck, you'd best learn to live with it.
