Only a traitor would vote allow a Rat to win the presidency by not voting for John McCain. Problem is, McCain is a Rat. This is the Year of the Rat.

This does stick pretty much to the old model, but the green is everywhere these days, and still our ‘trusted’ leaders have their heads firmly implanted.

Well, he didnt need money to win the Republican nomination. You're right. He got the nomination without my money or my vote. Now he can win the presidency without my money or vote. Piece of cake.
Unfortunately, he had a compliant, fawning news media to get the nomination. What are the odds that will continue in the general election?

Compare the two reconquista maps, one from Mayday 2006 in San Diego.

I suspect that most real conservatives will come around and support John McCain this November.

***Whats the yellow thingy?***
That is the “Don’t Tread on Me” rattlesnake!

An excerpt from that website:
“I like seeing all the American flags. I do have my complaints about the American government, especially about how intimately the Washington D.C. politicians feel they should be involved in the daily lives of their subjects, I mean, citizens. But the flag isn’t just a symbol of the American government. It’s a symbol of shared American values — especially our highest common value: freedom.
When it comes to symbolizing freedom and the spirit of ‘76, I do think there’s a better American flag. With all due respect to the stars and stripes, I prefer the yellow Gadsden flag with the coiled rattlesnake and the defiant Don’t Tread on Me motto.
The meaning of Old Glory can get mixed up with the rights and wrongs of the perpetually new-and-improved government. The meaning of “Don’t Tread on Me” is unmistakable.”

Doesn't matter how you spin it. The anti-illegals movement lost big in 2006. Shamnesty was never proposed in the last Congress because it would have lost by more than it did in the current one. We still see many attempts to resurrect it as well. In other words, the anti-illegal forces were not defeated despite the media, the left, and the president.
I maintain that it was low conservative turnout that did in most of the GOP. I don't want to think that if conservative turnout was high in 2006 that many would be so stupid as to vote Democrat. Of course, we've seen the Democrat party pick up at least 2 more "conservative" districts since 2006, so either conservatives are still staying home, or they really are stupid and vote Democrat when the GOP goes astray.
War weariness.
I wrote:"And as polling has shown it is because the media was lying."
pnh102 responded:
No self-respecting conservative gets his or her news from the mainstream media.
Mainstream? I was talking about Fox News's bias as well.
McCain never lied about his pro-shamnesty stance. Never once did he say he would vote against shamnesty. His record was open for all the voters to see.
McCain said taht he was for closing the borders before dealing with illegal aliens or guest workers". That was disinformation.
The CIS study show that voters were ignorant about McCain-Kennedy.

You conveniently avoided addressing the above. Typical. I've been posting here since you were in diapers and drinking from a sipee cup. I know all about McCain and the backstabbers that is the Republican Party. If the GOP keeps embracing illegal aliens they will not only lose their core supporters, but the newly crowned legal illegals aren't going to vote for them. That's a fact, and no amount of begging conservatives to once again hold their noses is going to cut it.

McCain never lied about his pro-shamnesty stance. Never once did he say he would vote against shamnesty. His record was open for all the voters to see. And Iraq, the economy, and the Macacca incident are figments of my imagination.
Actually, Santorum and Allen lost to Democrats who lied about their positions.
There are no anti-illegal Democrats. All voting for Democrats did was empower the far left, which is pro-illegal.
Yes and on. Voting Democrat did empower the far left. However 52+ Democrats support the Secure America with Validation and Enforcement Act.

Crying in his beer over Ron Pauls campaign crashing and burning. He's raised more money and still has more support than McCain, and it's possible that he'll get enough write-in votes to deny McCain an election victory. When that happens, I'll be cracking open a cold one laughing my behind off at the hysterical, angry posts that'll surely be posted here on election night.

So are you a Clinton or Obama supporter? Neither. You should ask other FReepers this question, by the way. Half of them voted for Hillary to keep her in the primaries.

Just curious...
