Big Brown made himself famous at the Derby, but the Derby run for the roses showed its thorns with what happened to Eight Belles.

So sad about Eight Belles, we had to turn it off.Yes, it was so sad. The veterinarian at the track said it was nearly unheard of for a horse to sustain such severe injuries to both front legs. He said there were plenty of cases in which a horse might be sore, but not two broken ankles.

sure was interesting talk about the next race of the triple
they said there are two horses who would not be strong at the derby who were born for the next race and would be Big Brown’s challenge.
Personally, I doubt it... Big Brown looks like he could dunk a basketball if he wanted to
