Bush pushed for ANWR drilling multiple times. It never went through. Blame Congress, not Bush.

Instead of saying "I'm a Ethanol person...", he should reiterate the need for drilling our own oil! Nail it on the dems! He is behaving like he is all hunky-dory with ethanol.

I just want to thank congress for that well thought out energy bill that was passed last year. (SIC,SIC) NO new oil wells, oil refineries, hydroelectric dams, coal or nuclear power plants, just use less energy and (BTW) we are going to allow use of more food for fuel. Again, I would like to take the time to Thank You when I get the chance to vote come November.

"He also chastised Congress for blocking his initiatives, including a stalled free trade agreement with Colombia, his plan to open Alaska lands and coastal waters to oil and gas exploration, and his proposal to overhaul the government's mortgage program."
