A great letter from a courageous man. I have only one bone to pick with it. This:

“Let go of the global warming frenzy before it leaves you discredited and embarrassed.”

Personally, I really don’t want the global warming lefists to give up their screed just yet. When the fraud is fully exposed in the near future, I want these people to be publicly discredited. I want them to be embarrassed and humiliated and scorned for the petty conmen they are.

And then I want them to crawl under a rock and shut up.

Unfortunately this voice of reason will be denounced as heresy by the global warming cultists and Coleman will be portrayed as a tool of big oil, the Bush Administration etc. The MSM will also ignore Coleman's letter except in denouncing it. The global warming cult is little different than the earth centered universe model embraced by the Catholic Church in the 15th & 16th centuries. Even in the face of proof by eminent scientists like Bruno, Galileo and others they doggedly held to their erroneous beliefs and sought to use the Inquisition to silence anyone who challenged their orthodoxy.

I refuse to discuss Climate change. That's stuff that can only be studied scientifically after the fact.

The very notion that man can control climate is so beyond the pale that The Age of Insanity will be the proper label when the period 1980-2010 is discussed in the History books.

The only thing I would say to Coleman’s logical argument is that he is giving enviro-wackos credit for having integrity. I’m sure there are numbers of enviros who really do believe they’re saving the planet. But Coleman forgets that the people leading the movement are mostly hard-leftists who sole goal is to destroy free-market capitalism. Which is what will happen if the world agrees to all the enviro-wacko extremist goals.

I applaud his attempts at moderating this crazed frenzy and attempting a rational discussion but I fear it's too little, too late.

Far too many politicans and "scientists" world-wide have staked their reputation and careers on this scam already. It's lose-lose for them, either reverse positions and leave the stage now or keep the frenzy up and keep the stage for a little longer. We just got back from ten days in Italy and The Netherlands. Both CNN & the BBC constantly throw a barrage of "climate change this" and "global warming that." It's in-escapable.

I have have come to wonder if Tom Clancy and Michael Creighton are correct. There is a worldwide move to heard us all into obedience to a ruling governmental aristocracy....and exterminate us.
