I’ve often wondered about this in-kind stuff. How much “in-kind” contribution did Obama get when Oprah Winfrey came to his fundraiser? If you had to pay her, surely it would have been tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Still, it would be shocking to me if this case had merit. McCain understands the stupid campaign laws, and if opening a private venue is an “in-kind” contribution, I would presume he would have paid for it.

But I thought politicians had fundraisers in people’s homes all the time, and I never heard they had to pay the “use cost” of the facility.

Let’s face it folks, not one of the top 3 candidates for President, have the qualities needed to be a successful President. There would be no better year than this year for a third party or independent campaign. There is nothing out there.
