i love how the insipid reporter labels the wife of sgt. carnahan as a “single mother,” even though the two are still married.

Incredible!

It seems the military is more focused on persecuting our military than defending them during the prosecution of a WAR...

Clearly — we’ve gone nuts.
We’ve become to “civilized” to endure much longer...

Look at the Nazario case. That,IMO, is the last nail in the coffin, if the prosecution succeeds.

I know Alyssa was trying to be upbeat, but that video was a tearjerker.
Two thumbs up for your local news channel - they seemed sincere and concerned.

I agree, bigheadfred. I couldn't get the video to load, but I can only imagine what Alyssa is going through. God bless her for going on the record again, fighting for her husband and her children's father.

Kudos to Alyssa for having the courage to do this interview! Wish more people would watch it! Evan and Alyssa have my undying support and prayers that this injustice will soon be resolved.

Too bad on the video. You would have gotten a live shot of their baby girl. Which (when I see that baby, and think about where her daddy is, and why he is there) might help some of you understand why it may seem like I am at times a tad unusual...

Clearly. GWB could have this soldier pardoned and released from prison as a final thanks to our brave men and women in uniform that each day follow their orders.
I hope this will be the case.

We put a letter of Pardon in the Great White Bwana’a (GWB) hands. Whether or not he does anything with it is something else.

Prayers that the President will have pardon Evan. They made the right choice that day and all came home. Michael Murphy, Danny Dietz, Matt Axelson and Marcus Luttrell, faced with the same situation, made a different choice.

Thanks for the ping, Red. My disgust with this administration grows daily, and if I cut loose here would surely get me banned. My prayers and support to bigheadfred and his family that this travesty be overturned soon.

“Michael Murphy, Danny Dietz, Matt Axelson and Marcus Luttrell, faced with the same situation, made a different choice.”

And if I were a betting man I would say there are 19 families out there who wish Marcus Luttrell had made a different choice. Did you see this story?

Hey Brit, while I am overly overjoyed over the exonerations of Trevino and Corrales I cannot overstate just how FUBAR the conviction of Evan Vela is.

George W. Bush is the Commander-in-Chief who has left the prosecution of the war in the hands of a bunch of scumbag ACLU lawyers. George W. Bush is just fine and dandy with “battlefield ethics” and “laws of war” and “rules of engagement” (”May I please fire before they kill me, sir?”), and the excruciating two-and-a-half year prosecution of young Marines who dared to respond when a comrade was blown in half by an IED.

I wouldn’t look for that weakling to be handing out any pardons anytime soon.
Sorry....
