Heck, Jonny Quest had one I’m sure.

Kinda makes a safety parachute a bit of a problem. Maybe it will autogyro down.

I was asked to use yaw in a sentence. All I could think of was “Yaw come back now, heah?”

I checked the company website. Many interesting photos for those of you who know how to post them:

I was hoping they’d be selling some apparel that has the company logo. The red pants the “pilot” is wearing look comfortable and practical.

I saw Butch use one on a "Droopy" cartoon.
It didn't turn out well for Butch.

Strap-On Helicopter Could Offer Solo Flying Experience So many jokes, so little time.

The one that was a single-man hovercraft had more success, but wasn’t practical either.

IT'S THE YEAR 2008. THERE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FLYING CARS. I DON'T SEE ANY FLYING CARS. WHY. WHY. WHY. I have had a flying car since 1987. It is just invisible, so you don't know it. All the flying cars are invisible, otherwise everybody would want one...

I jumped out of airplanes for a living!
They explained how to steer in a strong wind.
I’m guessing these things don’t do so well on a strong, gusty day. Or rain. Or dark.
Thanks, but I’ll stick to silk.

First thing I thought of was what the fuel was supposed to be?
Disregarding the aerodynamics and wind gusts, the Jet pack is only able to carry enough fuel for a few minutes flight...I can’t imagine this this would be much of an improvement in flight duration.
