Can someone please tell me how a Big Brother DNA data base containing info on every newborn child can help the coountry in time of “national emergency”? If a child has a genetic abnormality or is a carrier for such, it should be a private matter between the child’s family and his or her physicians and health care providers. Government should simply butt out. Privacy over one’s medical information is essential to a civilized society!
In this instance, Dr. Paul, as an obstetrician, has more scientific expertise on the subject at hand (newborns) than any other congressman as well.

There will come a time when over population worldwide wioll be a dire concern. Since abortion is legal now, it doesn’t take a brainy scientist to figure out what is around the corner. Perhaps sterilizing babies when they are first born if their geneology doesn’t match what ‘society needs’.
I intend on mailing in an absentee ballot for Paul when it is time to vote.
