Help? Who said this in what film?
"We talk about places we'll never go and look at pictures of places we'll never see."

"We talk about places we'll never go and look at pictures of places we'll never see." There's a movie about me?

It’s a Wonderful Life? It sounds like something George Bailey said. Just guessing.

No, just a question on a blog in my local newspaper.
To: Conservababe
There are two possible answers to this question.
1) It’s a snipe hunt, and there is no answer. It’s a familiar sounding quote and variants have probably found their way into many books and movies, but never this exact quote. Somebody’s doing a psychological experiment to see what lengths people will go to to figure it out.
2) It’s an incredibly obscure movie.
Either way, there doesn’t seem to be an answer. I’m inclined to believe it’s a bogus question.

If Google can’t find it (and it can’t) they’ve or you’ve mis-stated it, most likely. It does sound like a certain line from “Wonderful Life” though, just a lot more ethereal. It does sound familiar. I hope someone finds out.

Apparently not. But you’re free to scroll through the ‘memorable quotes’ at IMDB and see if you can find it.
I’d rather not do that again, myself.

I was thinking it sounded like something from Bee Movie - I just saw it recently - but I don’t really find it there. It sounds so familiar - it is going to drive me nuts.

I googled the quote for you, but all I can find are posts asking the same question on other message forums. Apparently, other people are looking for the answer, too.
