I like Gordon Brown, he’s pro-American. We can’t ask more than that.

France and the UK moving right. The Witch, Snobama, or the RINO relic move America left. Something wrong with this picture.

It doesn’t matter. The so-called “conservatives” there are as anti-American as any rabid frenchman!

Great. Tell the radical Muslims to clear the Hell off of English soil and ease the restrictions on guns.

Otherwise, what the Hell are the 'Conservatives' over there conserving, anyway?

Brown should have been lowering interest rates since before he left his last job.

Anyway, about the only good from the Tories taking over is that most of them are against joining the EU’s common currency/Euro and other rubbish.

So Brown’s loss is a greater blow against the EU than anything.

What is this - a general election? Doesn’t this mean Brown loses the prime ministership is his party is out of power?

All one hears is how Bush is out of touch with the rest of the world, how the Europeans don’t respect him, how he has alienated our allies, blah, blah, blah...

And yet the governments of Germany, France, Britain, and Italy have all shifted to be more amenable to conservative policies than when he took office. It’s called leadership. The poll driven democrats, and the Clintons in particular, wouldn’t know it if it swam up and bit them on the rear end...

If the UK’s Conservatives are like our John McCain, they’re still screwed.

This is why some say we need to do the same and eject these Democrats for years to come afterwards.

Democrats are nothing like they used to be: Pro-America and Pro-Defense. Hell, it was only, what, 1997, 1998 when Kyoto was voted down with no ‘nays’? Today a Democrat can’t vote in favor of something for this country unless it benefits the Democrat Party politics or the Democrat pol’s pockets.

Having all three branches and driving this country into the ground with their socialist economics and their communist policies would certainly do the trick.

Here's a link to the BBC's continuous updated vote totals for the constituencies:

Nothing of the London results yet -- won't see much of them for another eight hours or so.

These local government election results are certainly a wake-up call to Brown.

Cameron, who is a “moderate,” can win by default in this environment if a national election were called now.

But Brown will choose the time most favorable to him, if there is one to choose.
