I like Gordon Brown, he’s pro-American. We can’t ask more than that.

... but the people of GB deserve better, I'm glad to see them kick the bums out of office.

If the UK’s Conservatives are like our John McCain, they’re still screwed.

I hardly believe it has anything remotely to do with Bush. Cameron is as anti-Bush as any other Brit.

no offense or anything, but you are so far off base about brown that you're playing in another ballpark. Check this out and tell me how you feel about brown:

What is this - a general election?

No, it is for local offices only, mostly important to see how the parties are doing with their relative power.

Liberals cannot be trusted with National security. Good to see other countries waking up.

Looks like intelligent people, mainly the working class, realize that democracy and free enterprise are the key to their success and a decent way of life.

That is why they are throwing the reds out of office, esp. in Italy (and brought back Berlusconi).

These people also see the threat of Islamofascism and homegrown Sharia-freaks.

Perhaps there is hope for humanity before it is too late.

He’s a globalist mutt who speaks gleefully about an interdependant world.

He can’t be tossed out soon enough. imo

This is why some say we need to do the same and eject these Democrats for years to come afterwards.

Democrats are nothing like they used to be: Pro-America and Pro-Defense. Hell, it was only, what, 1997, 1998 when Kyoto was voted down with no ‘nays’? Today a Democrat can’t vote in favor of something for this country unless it benefits the Democrat Party politics or the Democrat pol’s pockets.

Having all three branches and driving this country into the ground with their socialist economics and their communist policies would certainly do the trick.

In addition to Silvio Berlusconi in Italia and the latest events in the UK don’t forget Angela Merkel in Germany and Sarkozy in France.

Where it is REALLY desperately needed {I have been there and seen it} is BeNeLux - especially in Netherlands.

Mozzie scum run roughshod over the natives there - more rights and protections than a transgendered midget jello wrestler in Gaving Newsome’s kitchen.

That is the place where Theo Van Gogh was shot, then stabbed in the middle of the street in broad daylight by one of those mohammad-worshipping jihadist pig molesters.

Of course, Spain could use some new cojones, too...

Here's a link to the BBC's continuous updated vote totals for the constituencies:

Nothing of the London results yet -- won't see much of them for another eight hours or so.

Hopefully we can get rid of them here also. I don't think Democrats trying to put Malcolm X  in the White House will play well with most Americans....will see.

I think the reason they are giving liberals the boot across the globe is because of terrorism.  Liberals cannot be trusted with National security.

Plenty here adore Toni "I am a socialist and I won't retract the statement" Blair because he sent troops to Iraq.
