I recall the reviews of Le Rustbucket in the auto mags. I had a cousin who almost bought a Le Car. She bought a Peugeot instead and loved it.

LeCar, I sold those things new.

They did get good gas mileage. And if driven carefully, you could go almost 25,000 miles between head gasket changes. 2 years was all you would get before the radiator cracked in the lower left corner. And every 2 years you had to rebuild or replace the clutch master and slave cylinders.

Did I mention they did get good gas mileage?
