Obama adviser: Israel must give up its nukes
WND ^ | 5-1-08 | Aaron Klein

JERUSALEM – Israel should give up its nuclear weapons to ensure Iran halts its illicit nuclear program, argues an adviser on nuclear issues to Sen. Barack Obama.

Joseph Cirincione, director of nuclear policy at the Center for American Progress, also previously dismissed reports Israel's Sept. 6 airstrike targeted a Syrian nuclear reactor as "nonsense" and called Damascus' nuclear program "miniscule."

Immediately following Israel's air raid, Cirincione listed "Israelis [who] want to thwart any dialogue between the U.S. and Syria" as among those spreading rumors Syria was constructing a nuclear facility.

Why is it he can talk about political stuff in his church and not get in trouble? Yet other churches even mention anything political and the mighty IRS is all over them like diaper.

Good foreign policy decision! The community organizer/presidencial hopeful wants Isreal to surrender.
Will he order this if China or Russia are at our back door?
No doubt he will!

Israel's only real security lies in the fact that they have the ability to wreak terrible revenge, and we hope their political establishment still has the backbone to assure that they would in fact do so. Without nukes, they might still survive, but their "neighbors" would be emboldened to strike in the worst way.

I hope that OUR political establishment still has the backbone to say to the critics of Israel, tough shinola. We support Israel having nukes. We support bombing you if you have nukes. That's our story and we're sticking to it. Send all complaints to the UN.

Yea Right?! Nothing would accelerate a nuclear strike on Israel faster than getting rid of its nuclear weapons.

These people are anti-American AND anti-civilization.

“If Obama gets into office, there goes Israel.”

Perhaps if Obama gets elected the Israelis will understand what they are up against and become tougher and more self-reliant.

This guy is now making it very clear that he wants Israel destroyed. Israel’s nukes keep all of the Ilsamic monsters at bay.

that he favors Israel giving up its nuclear weapons to ensure Iran doesn't obtain nukes.

Calling Cirincione a maroon only beings to describe it. To quote Manuel, "how many times, you great big half-wit?" /FawltyTowers (and logic)

This is an example of insanity. O’Bama needs to dump all his advisors.

Yeah, just like similar concessions have worked so well with North Korea. Sometimes I think liberals (especially those within the US State Dept) are trying to engineer a second Holocaust.

If a frog had wings it wouldn’t bump its ass. I believe you get the government you deserve and the hard working American people certainly don’t deserve the Obama disaster and neither does Israel.

These stupid aholes..actually think Iran would honor a treaty?
++++++++++++++++++
Lord Chamberlain’s efforts in the 30s proves that diplomacy works. He negotiated with Hitler and saved England from war boasting proudly, “Peace is at hand”, while waving the non agression treaty he had worked so hard for. Americans instigated war and attacked Japan which forced Germany, a peace loving country, to come to Japan’s aid and fight for it’s own survival in Europe. The U.S. forced England into war with Germany who wanted peace. Oh!! Wait a minute. I just realized that the book I’m reading is my son’s new high school history book. There are rumors that there might be errors and biases in it. I’ll get back to you.

If Israel laid down their arms, they would be wiped off the face of the earth+++++++++++++++
And the Arab nations would continue to be a war with someone, someplace. And if the Arab nations were wiped off the face of the earth then Arabs would still be at war with someone, someplace.

This guy's no ordinary Israel-bashing douchebag. He's 'Special'

April 25, 2008

“I am not a top advisor to Senator Obama. I have never met the Senator. ”

“I have written occasional memos to his campaign and publicly endorsed his candidacy, but I am afraid there is no way I could be considered ‘Barack Obama’s top expert on matters nuclear.’” - Joseph Cirincione

http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives2/2008/04/020378.php/

April 24, 2008

Last September, in response to reports that the site in Syria that Israel bombed was a potential nuclear facility being established with the help of North Korea, Cirincione insisted that the site was no such thing.

"This story is nonsense," Obama's adviser on nuclear threats told Foreign Policy magazine's blog.

As with Samantha Power, the number one problem with Obama taking advice from Cirincione is not his view of Israel; it's that he's a fool.

According to Cirincione, the reports were the product of two nefarious, agenda-driven groups: (1) Bush administration hardliners seeking to derail "the U.S.-North Korean agreement" and (2) Israelis who "want to thwart any dialogue between the U.S. and Syria."

OH. You meant THAT Syrian nuke facility?

OK. My Bad. Sorry. I thought you 'Neoncons' were talking about...

If Obama gets into office, there goes Israel.

Indeed, those nukes are the only thing keeping the likes of Syria and Iran at bay. That and the superior manpower, training and technology of the IDF. But eventually even the best will succumb to overwhelming numbers of enemies. Ask the German Wehrmacht about that.

Well, there goes any chance of Barry getting the Jewish vote.....

If he wins the nomination, large fractions, probably a majority, of Jews will vote for him.

Even in the primary, his opponent isn't exactly a steadfast supporter of Israel, or even of American Jews. Her "Spiritual Adviser" during the post Monica period, The Reverend Jaak Son, once termed New York City (which is the state she ostensibly represents in the Senate) ""Hymie Town". She asked the Reverand Protection Racket to be her adviser *after* he made that remark.

He has more issues than just antisemitic advisers - Marxism for one, and I’ll bet Max was antisemitic too).

Karl Marx *was* a Jew, at least under Jewish law, since his mother was Jewish. His father had nominally converted to Lutheranism to be able to continue to practice law in Prussia.
