The palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise.
Thomas Paine
In my recent column "Pulpit Racism Leads Blacks To Destruction," I dealt with the racism coming from many black preachers.
The hate-filled anti-American sermons of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and other wolves in sheep's clothing have been exposed. Yet, there still remains an unspoken disease infecting the black church the racism in the pews.

A voice of reason.........
For the same reason so many white Christians follow false liberal preachers.
They tickle the old ears.
Wow, Rev. Peterson is getting hot.
Hi AppyPappy, bingo.
One need only look at Rev. Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ and many other black churches to see this lie being played out.
The false black preacher is only too happy to reinforce the idea of the white man as scapegoat. His sermons make the congregation angrier and more bitter. And the angrier they become, the easier it is for the minister to control them. Since the exodus of men, black preachers have retooled their message to play to women's egos.
What I want to know is where are the other preachers. Isn't there only one God? Are they going to let these preachers blaspheme the name of God without any retribution?
“...black preachers have retooled their message to play to women’s egos.”
T.D. Jakes, baby!
Woman, Thou Art Loosed!
LOL!
Wright, I believe, is an acolyte of Louis Farrakhan. I think that he who fatwas in church will end up sitting in his own pew..
"My god's better than your god,
my god's better than yours,
my god's better 'cuz Preacher-man say so,
my god's better than yours!"
What are you saying? I would like to respond, but I don’t get your point?
“Blacks are more racist than Whites.”

We can ban for punning, right?
Offense to God, humanity, and, um, everything else? Right up there with cutting the cheese in church?
They sure vote like it, and I've never, ever heard them called on it.
I once watched with incredulity as two WWL-TV (CBS's New Orleans affiliate) newsies reported on city election returns. I think it was 1978, and Ernest "Dutch" Morial, the first black mayor of New Orleans, was running for re-election against a candidate named Russo. He was getting 95% of the black vote and about 25% of the white vote, and he complained that the white voters were racist. WWL-TV reported his complaint with a straight face, without ever pausing to reflect on the voting pattern in the black precincts. In fact, they walked around that elephant in the room all night -- you could see them biting their tongues and straining to avoid the subject.
I don't know HOW in the world people can sit in a pew every Sunday or even twice a year and listen to some of the messages they hear, but it's time to stand up for the essence of who we are in rebirth in Christ Jesus.
I know Mr. Wright believes he is a prophet as many believe themselves to be today, but I don't know one single prophecy based on race since Jesus walked this earth. His love and the love of God was offered freely to everyone. His example should be enough — he was beaten into shock, tortured on a cross for three and a half hours and managed to say loud enough to be heard, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”
Slavery is evil. Those who practice and practiced it are sinners. Those who are torturing Christians in the Sudan are evil. Those who have tortured Christians for their beliefs were evil. The bottom line, however, is we are to forgive. No where does it say, “Forgive if you can get over your white-hot anger.” Apparently, no one in Mr. Wright's church has opened the E&R catechism since the merger. They really ought to give it a thumb-through, just like law enforcement should at least be familiar with the Constitution.
If no one is willing to actually become familiar with the tenets of the faith, then what can be expected? If no one spends time with Jesus in prayer and supplication, then who will know his voice? If no one will stand up quietly and leave when hate is spoken, then how will anyone know when something is wrong?
I can honestly say that the infectious poison of Liberation Theology — whether in churches where only blacks or Hispanics or whites worship — must be stopped. It stops with each one of us. It stops now. Muslims might take a hard look at how you stop poisonous invectives and thereby reclaim their religion of peace. If we don't want to lose our Christianity, then we'd better step up hard and fast.
Abigail - did you Jesse Peterson on FNC the other night debating a black Jeremiah Wright apologist, he really told it like is!!
Molon Labe!!

Here you have a goodlooking, intelligent, african american running for preident with a very good chance of making it and he is being taken out by Al, Wright and his own wife Michelle.
Can’t blame this on white America not voting for a black president.
