RUSH: A TV station in Indianapolis thinks they caused the operational pause in Operation Chaos. WISH-TV, the anchor Eric Halvorson and his report last night on Operation Chaos.
HALVORSON: Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh called for a pause in what he calls Operation Chaos. It's a call to conservatives to vote in Democratic primaries to extend the nomination battle. Yesterday, 24 Hour News 8 Jim Shella reported on official reactions to Operation Chaos here, a story Limbaugh referenced on the air today.
RUSH: So they're implying, ladies and gentlemen, that Operation Chaos, the operational pause was due to their report. I can understand. I can understand a local television station wanting to think they're a factor in a major nationwide operation, and they're doing a hard-hitting investigation out there, that's what local TV news is known for. I don't want to deflate them. I don't want to ruin their day out there in the newsroom at WISH-TV, but the operational pause in Operation Chaos was due strictly to the Obama press conference yesterday while we awaited what I knew was going to happen, media reaction, because we had to determine what course of action we would order next given the media reaction to Obama yesterday. And I can just tell you, the operational pause is now lifted. Operation Chaos is back at full speed, and we have no change in direction, orders from headquarters remain exactly what they are: You are to go out and sustain the Democrat primary season by virtue of voting for Hillary Clinton. Nothing has changed, ladies and gentlemen, nothing whatsoever.

Why would he issue a “pause” just before a speech? There was no voting that day. That’s kind of weird.

Right now, Rush Limbaugh is John McCain's best friend, and ONLY effective campaigner.
A Hillary Presidency will push Rush’s ratings way, way up: even political comedians need a straight man...no, straight woman...well, perhaps straight woman...to work with.
You people just can’t wrap your minds around the fact that the MM would have buried Wright so far under the radar if Hillary was already out of the race.
Understand that the MSM only tolerates a democrat being criticized if it’s from another democrat.
Now, many democrats say they won’t vote for the other candidate if theirs is not the nominee. That alone almost guarantees a McCain win.
Oh wait, that’s not great either.
So who is the best choice - the BLT candidate, the communist, or the socialist republican ?
An unfortunate side-effect is that Hillary has grown stronger as as candidate even as -- we hope -- she loses.
I see. And it is interesting that the media didn’t dump on Obama. They would have dumped on Hillary if she had done the exact same thing.

Agreed—I was just listening to him during my lunch hour and turned him off. He’s telling the supers what to do—(don’t worry, blacks won’t sit home if you give it to Hillary—they have never left you before in our history, no matter what...blah blah). Let’s just hand the presidency over to her right now. I am just sick.

Rush must think that McCain will do better against Hillary. I fear we will look back on "Operation Chaos" with deep regret when Hillary becomes POTUS #44.

None of the three are acceptable to those who want some kind of fiscal responsibility and a genuine desire to uphold the Constitution from the next president. That objective is irretrievably lost. The next best outcome possible is to have the Democratic Party beat up its own members and for their allies to be in perpetual disarray. Even if we end up with a President Obama or President Clinton, the fact that their lack of competence for the job was evident before the election and such an unqualified candidate can only win by virtue of not having any real competition, will make it that much easier to boot them out of office at the earliest opportunity in favor of a better alternative from the right (remember Reagan succeeding Carter).
The chaos was already well underway by the time Rush assumed ownership of “Operation Chaos” and it would be proceeding pretty much the same right now, with or without him. It's being driven by a grassroots effort from dissatisfied conservatives who know what they're doing when they poke their fingers in the Democrat primary process.
And it's FUN.
Rush Limbaugh’s job is to garner ratings, not win elections. He is doing his job quite well, and has for a long time. Operation Chaos is entertainment, and is having no quantifiable effect on the Democrat nomination process. Stop being silly and get on with your lives.
