Why would he issue a “pause” just before a speech? There was no voting that day. That’s kind of weird.

Rush is brilliant. He predicted EXACTLY what the drive-by response would be, but called an "operational pause" to see if they would surprise him and dump on Obama, in which case he'd urge people to vote for Obama. But they didn't.

Right now, Rush Limbaugh is John McCain's best friend, and ONLY effective campaigner.
