I like immigrants. We should make it easier for the well-behaved ones to register as such, to be documented, and to eventually become citizens if that is their choice.

I like LEGAL immigrants, i.e., those who obey our laws. Anyone who is unocumented should be deported. It should be the choice of the United States, not the immigrant, as to who becomes a citizen.

I disagree on both points. If by disobeying our laws, you are referring to immigration laws, I think those should have been changed a long time ago, as they were unenforced and unenforceable. And I think as a nation we should encourage citizenship for the people who are living here.
