Well, Sieg Heil to you too!
Erasing all the words of the enemy seems rather retarded from an intel standpoint.
Hey HG — yes, I want them removed. The terrorists use them to recruit new terrorists. These people are trying to kill my brother and all members of our military. Anything I can do to slow their ability to recruit is what I’m doing. But please, if you can talk sense to them and make them listen, then do it! You’re a better man than I if you can!! :-)
You guys deserve a big WOOOOHOOOO!!!
We had a BIG surrender yesterday ~
this guy's been around a while. He
probably has another channel ~
we'll find it eventually and smack it, too!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION:
The DNC apparently thinks that it's a great idea to politicize the deaths
of our brave ones and have decided to use video very similar to that which
we are battling on YouTube every day in an anti-McCain ad.
Regardless of your view of John McCain, using the deaths of our soldiers
in a political ad is morally reprehensible. If you have the time, please
see this thread and then voice your displeasure with the DNC.
Steps for flagging videos (H/T to rawcatslyentist):
#1) If you dont have a YouTube account, go sign up for one. You dont have to use it for anything but this.
#2) Click one of the links below, let the video start and then click the pause button on the player so you dont have to actually watch the propaganda.
#3) Below the video, click Flag as inappropriate.
#4) Choose promotes hatred or violence
#5) Where it says please indicate the group attacked choose National Origin.
#6) Where it says provide additional information..... type or copy/paste in the below statement.
Providing services to terrorists violates executive orders 12947 and 13224.
So you got game? If you do, heres your first list a couple of the videos have already been Smacked Down! WOOHOOO!! Lets get the rest!
Seriously, what good does it do to leave these up?
Hell yes! I want to censor the videos! If that was your kid in one of these being killed, wouldn’t you? The troops are all our kids.
I’m jumping in for the Moms of those soldiers!
Let's review:
These videos are posted by people who want to do harm to Americans, America and her Constitution.
These videos are posted by people who (in case your tiny mind can't figure it out from the above statement) are at war with the United States.
These videos are posted by people who constantly kill women and children to advance their ideology of hate.
These videos are posted by people who wish to finish the job the Nazis started.
These videos are in violation of the terms of service on the private website they are hosted on, a website that depends on its users to police content.
But if we defend the nation, support the troops, oppose child killers who want to wipe out the Jews and do the job YouTube wants its users to do, we're Nazi oppressors.
Nice thinking there. It appears your moral compass is no longer pointing due north, but pointing somewhere in the area of Epsilon Eridani.
Erasing all the words of the enemy seems rather retarded from an intel standpoint.
If you had bothered to watch any of the videos featured, Spaceman Spiff, you would be able to tell that they were downloaded from terrorist websites (may pig feces be upon them) and therefore are still available to intel agencies. Then there's the fact that intel agencies have been infiltrating jihadist sites for years and probably aren't cursing StarCMC for getting in their way. Lastly, having viewed a number of these videos, I find the idea that any of them contain actionable intelligence to be about 10.5 light years off the mark...you know, about all the way out to Epsilon Eridani.
So, to sum up:
1. I'd love to see you cite some important intel data from any of the videos Star is calling for smackdown on.
2. I'd like you to tell me, 100% straight up, why a vile video like this is a protected expression of free speech.
If you're not drunk, then this is inexcusable.
If you are drunk... it's still inexcusable.
Either way: enter a twelve-step program. Do primal scream therapy. Spank your inner moppet.
Whatever it takes, essentially.
> Erasing all the words of the enemy seems rather retarded from an intel standpoint.
If there were anything of an “intelligence” nature that could be of any use to the US Armed Forces in these videos, they probably already have it by now.
The plain fact is, this isn’t “intel”, it is enemy propaganda. Nobody learned anything of any value ever by paying any heed to enemy propaganda. It is only of any use to the enemy. It is therefore very sensible to remove this valuable resource from the enemy: it is most certainly not doing America any good by being publicly available on YouTube.
> Sooo.. you want to censor videos you don’t like?
During a time of war, Censorship is a perfectly valid and sensible thing to do. The right to Freedom of Speech is not absolute and never has been: certainly not during wartime.
> Well, Sieg Heil to you too!
Aside from being an unnecessarily unpleasant way to express yourself, I think your point is a valid concern with regards the Freedom of Speech. It deserves addressing:
Does an enemy at war with the United States have any reasonable right or expectation of Freedom of Speech, from a Bill of Rights perspective?
Jeez, I hope not. Commonsense would say “no”, but I am a foreigner so I don’t really know the United-States-constitutionally-correct answer to that question.
If the answer is actually “yes”, then your point is correct and the Smackdown is thus not a very nice thing to be doing to the Enemy, from a Bill-of-Rights viewpoint.
In which case, perfect! You’re not supposed to do nice things to your enemy when you are at war with him. You are supposed to be unkind to him to the maximum possible extent permitted by the Laws of War. Depriving the Enemy of a constitutionally-protected Right to Free Speech is therefore an excellent thing to do during a time of war.
(I would have also thought that stacking their illegal combatants in a naked pyramid, or putting underpants on their heads would also have been OK, but apparently not. Go figure...)
I am certain that, if Osama bin Laden were to want to present himself to the Justices of the Supreme Court to take out a constitutional challenge because his Freedoms of Speech were being violated, nobody would mind at all.
If, on the other hand, the answer is “no, the enemy does not have a constitutionally-protected right to Free Speech”, then perfect again: the Smackdown is therefore a perfectly fair and sensible thing to do to the Enemy.
No point giving the Enemy rights that he does not have. You can be certain that the Enemy would not reciprocate the favor, were your circumstances reversed.
So either way, the Enemy’s videos ought to be Smacked down. Your Bill of Rights says so.
