Absolutely, but very tough times are ahead. Really, how the hell are we gonna get out of this mess unless we drill and refine at home? When is Washington going to do something? Easy. When WE do something about it.
I don’t see how we can survive gasoline and home heating oil that goes above $5.00 a gallon.
I just paid $100.00 to fuel my truck and to fuel my gasoline powered lawn care equipment.
The economy is going to take a tremendous hit and its not going to be long in coming.

Yes we can survive. But at $5 I might have to park the 10.5 mpg around town vehicle I drive now and get something more efficient.

You are right that ever-increasing taxes are the thing we can’t survive. The Imperial government needs to be shrunk back to its constitutional limits. Government can’t be the safety net and uncle sugar for us and the illegals and the world. It ain’t working.

Sure, we can survive $5.00 a gallon gas. There was a time when gasoline was rationed. The question is whether we can survive the nostrums of the Democrats, who will only make the price of gasoline higher and its supply scarcer.
Healthcare is one. I’m hiring every Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, MRI Tech, CT Tech, Cath Lab Tech, etc. that I can lay my hands on. Pay rates range as high as $45/hr for some of these jobs in and around Knoxville, TN . . . . much higher elsewhere.

There are plenty of people making boatloads of money in this Country. Why not stop bitching and join them.
