NEW YORK (Reuters) - A U.S. federal appeals court on Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit filed by New York City against gun makers and suppliers the city targeted in a bid to stop the flow of illegal weapons.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the city's claims against the manufacturers and wholesale sellers of firearms, saying a federal law granted them immunity.
The decision overturns a lower court ruling.

Especially since he has already gotten away with violating federal firearms laws, by him sending his agents out of jurisdiction to illegally conduct straw purchases in Virginia.
If anyone else had done that, they’d be facing felony federal firearms law violations and serving time. Bloomberg is a very dangerous demagogue.

Now make NYC pay for the entire cost of the suit.
We need a federal "loser pays" system for these sorts of things.

BTT. It may be news to certain members of the New York City government that they don’t run the country.

Good. We should instead sue the criminal who kill people, not the gun company.

Yes, and the gun shop owners that were subjected to Bloomies illegal tactics should sue Bloomberg and NYC. I think that one did....
I second the FU Bloomberg comment.

There is no “family dinner table” for Bloomie. He is a middle aged unmarried guy who refuses to tell anyone what he does on the weekends, but during the week he puts on his Emperor’s crown and makes proclamations and directives that we peasants are expected to abide by. He is a freak.

Read the article and note the original lawsuit was filed by the July-Annie Administration in 2000 and ammended by Bloomy afterwards.
