Don’t forget Stalin and Lenin. You can find pictures of these guys in AFL-CIO headquarters.
I hope your son in law is greatful for the job for as long as it lasts. Lately, the formerly bright prospect of working at a GM plant long enough to retire at all, let alone with a fat retirement plan has dimmed considerably.
In other news, oceans contain salt...
Greatful that it helps pay child support for his two kids. He’s a good dad. Worried, all the time. He’s very tight-fisted...usually, although he has a male’s weakness for certain toys... ;op
THAT is the funniest post I've read in AGES! They're LYING about NAFTA.Important information at the source.
The AFL-CIO's call for amnesty means more union members! Join to stop unscrupulous employers abusing undocumented workers! Throughout the history of this country, immigrants have played an important role in building our nation and its democratic institutions. New arrivals form every continent have contributed their energy, talent and commitment to making the USA and the American union movement richer and stronger. Newly arriving workers continue to make indispensable contributions to the strength and growth of our unions, benefitting all workers. The AFL-CIO believes the current system of immigration enforcement in the United States is broken and needs to be fixed. Undocumented workers should be provided permanent legal status through a new amnesty program. They should have full workplace rights in order to protect the labor interests of all American workers.
Cant say I’m surprised, but this is more RAT lies.
The mailer claims that McCain said “Economics is something I never really understood.”
That’s not what he said. They left off the rest of the sentence. He said “Economics is something I never really understood as well as I should.”
He still understands it a lot better than the two RAT candidates who said they will raise the capital gains tax even though that means less revenue.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t cheap labor from immigrants one of the reasons labor unions were started in the first place? To protect against slave labor and child labor?
Good for him. Every boy's gotta have toys, LOL. My son is the same way. And also tight with money. He NEEDS a good job like that to support his current family and pay that child support. With custody settlements the way they are, she's probably getting the better part of what he earns.
One of the reasons yes. That’s what I always heard. I donno what taking down Saddam has to do with protecting against child and slave labor though.
I’m sure this is the brazillionth time this reply has been posted, but, that’s an endorsement IMHO.
“AFL-CIO slams McCain” and the sun came up this morning, what’s the point?
