Election '08: Stuck in a hole, Jeremiah Wright kept digging Monday at the National Press Club. His remarks were more than objectionable and divisive. They were lies. Why is Barack Obama shocked, shocked?

There. We used the "L" word, which is the only one that can apply to the assertions of the David Duke of the Democratic Party. It's a word Obama will not use as he tries to disown the man's words if not the bigot himself. Obama says he finds some of Wright's remarks objectionable, though he never says or is asked which ones and why. That we also find objectionable.

It's a lie that the U.S. government pumps drugs into the black community to entice black men into prison and to keep these communities "ground under." It's a lie that the AIDS virus was created in a government laboratory to kill black people.

Wright repeated these and other lies at the National Press Club and even added some new ones. On the AIDS lie, he offered no proof other than to say that, on the basis of our history, "I believe our government is capable of doing anything." So is he, apparently.

Wright added another lie — that if we wanted to know if Saddam Hussein was using chemical and biological weapons, all we had to do is check our sales records: "We sold him those biological weapons that he was using against his own people."

Wright stood by his assertion that America's chickens are coming home to roost. "Whatsoever you sow, that you shall also reap, " he said, adding: "You cannot do terrorism to other people and expect them never to come back on you."

What about Obama’s lies. First he never heard the controversial statements until now. The in his speech, he admitted he heard some. Then Obama told out they were out of context. And now finally, Obama finds the objectionable and is now acting like he never heard them before. What a weasel.

I went back and read recent interviews with Obama. He begins stuttering when Wright comes up. He stuttered a lot today when he “denounced” Wright.

He lies.

It was a lie that the Contras committed atrocities against the one Indian tribe that Wright mentioned...in actuality, it was his beloved Sandanistas who mass murdered a bunch of those Indians because they had sided with the Contras.

All of this has to play to Obama's character and judgement because now that Barack is disowning his Uncle Wright, whom he said a month ago that he could never disown any more than he could disown the Black Community, my question in that regard is simple.

Barack, even if I take you at your word...if you could exhibit such poor judgement over a 20+ year period about someone so close to you...how many more on your campaign staff, or contributors, or associates have you exhibited the same poor judgement regarding?

Ayers? Rezko? Others?

How many more would you exhibit such poor judgement with, if elected, in your cabinet, with foreign leaders, as nominations for judges, etc.?

Sorry Barack, but your whole presidential aspiration package wont hunt.

SnObama’s HUGE LIE is saying that he didn’t realize what Wright had been saying.

In that church for 20 years.

Specifically searched for a church throughout his area, and chose Wright’s. His choice was not a random chance.

Supporting that: Wright is clearly similar in philosophy to the philosophy expressed by his wife in her thesis. He married both of these two realizing what was at their core, and at his.

Kids baptized there.

Praised him in his books, speeches, and graced him with invitations.

Chose Wright to help him launch his campaigns - prayer, etc. - that implies he considered Wright to have a special place with respect to holiness and prayer before the Almighty... or an even more sinister and cynical motivation.

Has proved tone deaf regarding why people consider Wright so kooky. This is clearly because SnObama agrees at his core with Wright, and he is having difficulty separating and repudiating his core from the positions he wishes to maintain for purely political reasons.

Dragged kicking and screaming into what he considers proper “distancing” and “repudiation” of Wright. CLEARLY now this is a purely political move. If Wright did not reflect SnObama’s and his wife’s core values, all the above would have been repudiated many years ago. They would have repudiated him long before he came under campaign scrutiny. Saying he didn’t know his pastor’s and mentor’s views after twenty years is simply unbelievable... or proves he is a mental incompetant.

SnObama - you are trying to sell a lie, yourself, to America.

I know it. Many others do, too.
