Pressure Mounts on Obama After Reverend's Reappearance --
It's crunch time on the campaign trail, and candidates can't afford any mistakes or for any controversial friends to suddenly reappear. Will the Rev. Jeremiah Wright drag the Illinois senator's campaign down?
Some speculate the re-emergence of Sen. Barack Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is turning off white voters. Democratic sources tell ABC News that Wright is unquestionably worrying superdelegates about Obama's electability.
On Monday at the National Press Club, Wright was defiant, embracing some of the most controversial items he has said.
"Jesus said, You cannot do terrorism on other people and not expect it to come back on you," Wright said, defending his controversial sermon in which he said Sept. 11, 2001, was an example of chickens coming home to roost, in Malcolm X's memorable phrase. "Those are biblical principles, not Jeremiah Wright 'bombastic' principles."
On "Good Morning America" today, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggested the controversial former pastor may be deliberately trying to hurt the Illinois senator.
Saying that Wright "went out of his way to weaken Obama" during Monday's address at the National Press Club, Gingrich told Barbara Walters, "I think Rev. Wright has a greater interest in his self-importance."
Gingrich described Wright as "hard-line anti-American," and said "if Rev. Wright continues to talk that the burden that Sen. Obama carries becomes bigger and bigger. "
Republicans in Mississippi and North Carolina have cut TV ads using Wright against Democrats who have endorsed Obama, guilty by association with a different association.
In an interview with WTVD-TV in North Carolina, Monday, Obama said, "I think the average North Carolinian's gonna say that doesn't make much sense. And, you know, I think it's the old kind of politics."

Since his ties to Obama are so deep and long standing, this also leads one to look into what Wright actually teaches, his ideology and theology, and what Obama has listened to for the last 20 years.
Wright teaches Black Liberation Theology that was the creation of the black radical James Hal Cone, who took the Latin American Liberation Theology that had been created by Marxists to lure poor catholics into their "revolution" (because they knew their totally Godless marxism would not work), and revamped it for blacks in America.
This theology teaches that Christ was an oppressed black man living under whitey rule (the Romans) who was as much or more of a social revolutionary against white oppression as he was about spiritual salvation. In this sense, the theology is much closer to what the Islamics teach about Christ than what true Christians teach about Him.
It is a hate-filled, bigoted, anti-American, race bating, marxist construct. Here is what it's creator, James Hal Cone, says about it, the same James Hal Cone who Wright constantly refers to and holds up as an icon:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."This then is the trough from which Barack Hussein Obama has fed and the well from which he has drunk deeply for the past 20+ years.

this is so infuriating...if Rush hadn’t butted in, Obama would have been the official candidate facing all of this...now..there is a distinct possibility he will take the VP slot for the sake of the party, And that, my friends, is an unbeatable ticket. If this happens, we will have Rush to blame.

I just heard Glen Beck state that someone who sits and listens to Wright for twenty years and cannot see that he has issues with White America calls into question the reasoning abilities of the person who is listening to him.

I disagree. If Rush hadn’t “butted in,” the media would have tried to bury all of this stuff and we wouldn’t have found out about it until Wright was spewing his anti-American racist hatred during Obama’s inaugeration.

That's exactly right. "Operation Chaos" was a disaster. We needed Hillary out as soon as possible. I've been screaming at the top of my lungs for a while that Obama was an easy kill in the general election but that Hillary would win. Alas, it looks like the stupid Republicans helped keep Hillary alive long enough to swoop in and steal the nomination and subsequently the White House. Rush has made a colossal blunder.
How can Hillary win the nomination?

He was mad to think the Hildabeast would roll over and die gracefully: that’s not her nature.
She must have something pretty good on the Reverend — who knows what it might be? He wouldn’t be the first holy man to fall for some sin of the flesh, only to find that someone had brought along a camera — just speculating, of course.
They really are quite clever, not to be triffled with easily. He should have known that when you go swimming with sharks you better count your limbs when you get out of the pool.
IMHO, it is absolutley most likely that Obama will still get the nomination (he remains simply too far ahead) and that many Hillary supporters will not support him and Obama will have to carry all of this garbage luggage with him in the general.
If somehow Hillary takes the nomination form him, the dem train wreck is even going to be worse.
He should avoid Ft Marcy Park and Balkan airports in the mountains, too.

These are the same people who have already put in the fix for Obama. It's all over for '08, and they know it. It's such a shame that the race-baiters have been hoisted on their own petard.
