These dirty feet will probably be spreading to your food packages in the not so distant future.

This is a good sign. It means that the carbon madness is nearing completion.

A lot of this is protectionism and supported by local and European businesses. For example, since Australian wine, because of it quality and lower price, has suppressed wine sales from France and other European, countries the European industry has encouraged these people to put stickers on Australian wine bottles (and American and Chilean wine, too) that claim these foreign wines, since they are being shipped all the way to the UK, are damaging the environment. Just follow the money when it comes to carbon credits.

...including light bulbs and potatoes...

I tried a potato in my lamp and tried to eat a light bulb...neither worked out well.

As long as it is a voluntary business decision, I have no problem with it. Anyone has the right to be stupid.

Just think of all the extra waste printing the labels - paper, glue, ink chemicals, plus the carbon produced by the extra workers to print the stupid things.

""Customers tell us that it is very important to them," said David North, Tesco's community and government director. "What they have said is that they want us to help them tackle climate change."

People who think they cause global warming should just stop breathing and leave the rest of us alone.

Printing the carbon label causes global warming, making the extra paper and ink causes global warming. Why don't they just stay home and plant a potato and eat it raw. graze on the lawn instead of cutting it with a lawn mower, drink their own urine.

idiots.
