Thank God the Supreme Court has upheld a common sense voter ID law.

Elections have consequences, folks. Suppose John Kerry had won in ‘04. Instead of Roberts and Alito, Kerry would have appointed two liberals to fill the Supreme Court vacancies, who would have tilted the Court to the left. This decision would have been decided differently without Roberts and Alito. Instead of 6-3 upholding the law, it would have been a 5-4 vote rejecting the law if two more liberals had been on the court.

Why is it never pointed out that there are moneyed interests and hostile political movements that have much to gain by corrupting our elections? Everybody seems to know it, but nobody will say as much.

Ain’t nothing wrong with a little xenophobia now and then. It’s a common security mechanism in mother nature’s animals and all but politically correct human beings.

Also, something needs to be done about the problem of possible voter fraud through vote by mail and absentee ballots.

We aren’t the ones who should have to apologize or explain anything. Those with intent to subvert the electoral process and undermine our democracy are the ones who need to be scrutinized.

If you have to have an ID to get a job, get a bank account, cash a check, board an airplane, etc., etc., etc. - where is the hardship in having an ID to vote? Exactly who won’t have an ID?
