Schenck conveyed to Wright a warning against the preacher's Marxist liberation theology I note the use of the word Marxist. Hmmmm.

Schenck conveyed to Wright a warning against the preacher's Marxist liberation theology, telling him it's his source of trouble and he needs to drop it. Hmmmm... and Rev. Schenck didn't spend 20 years in the pews listening to Wright to figure this out?

I hope the good Rev Wright keeps talking.

I just received an email from a guy who was willing to give Wright the benefit of the doubt. After watching the Wright speech, my friend is appalled over what he heard. I wonder if this guy will be interviewed?

As a side note, while reading this, I found it interesting that people can easily go from "Rev" to "Dr" when referring to Wright; yet, few can as easily go from "Condi" to a much more appropriate "Dr. Rice" when referring to our Secretary of State.
Just food for thought...

Anybody know whether this National Clergy Council is Liberal or Conservative. If it is a lib organization then this thread should get interesting.

Rev. Schenck lives in my town, York, PA.
We’re about 2 hours out of DC. (90 miles)
He’s organized some really good events in my area.

Thank you Rev. Schenck, it was beginning to appear that no God fearing souls would respond to Wright's view of Black Religion.

This guy is setting himself up to be Pope of the black people. He is also trying to seperate, even further, the black and white people of this country. He actually believes that black christians are better than white christians. He would not address how he feels about Islam this morning also.

"Rev. Schenck said, 'I was respectful but firm. Dr. Wright's brand of black theology places him firmly in company with violent groups who use bombs and grenades in the name of religion. His speech today did not separate him from these militant groups.' "Wright didn't pick a good day to come out of th eNation of Islam closet, did he?
