Time Magazine Admits Its Climate Change Bias
Human Events ^ | April 28, 2008 | Jeff Poor

It’s wasn’t the first Time and it won’t be the last Time.

Showing an utter disregard for ethical journalism, the editors at Time twisted American patriotism into an ad for the green movement to promote “winning the war on global warming.” Green is the new red, white and blue we are told by editors who never liked the old red, white and blue.

The magazine used the historic Iwo Jima flag raising photo as a global warming marketing gimmick for its April 28 issue. The flag the Marines were raising was replaced with a tree to equate the evils our veterans overcame with the struggle now allegedly needed with climate change.

Haha: "Stengel’s analogy was ridiculously flawed. It’s not as if planes piloted by angry polar bears bombed Pearl Harbor or that the caribou had invaded the Aleutian Islands. To even consider such a comparison mocks the sacrifice of our veterans."

We tossed that issue without bothering to read it due to the stupid cover pic.

“You SUBSCRIBE to Time magazine? OMG! I won’t even read it for free in the doctors office.”

Nor do I read Time nor any of the other paper News Magazines. It's my guess that the WWII generation may well be Time's largest demographic. So, if these folks are as incensed as they make out to be, then they should “walk the talk” and cancel their subscriptions immediately and while they are at it, let Time mgmt know why they are doing it. But, it's my guess that when the dust settles and for all the talk very few subscriptions will actually be canceled...

Only in response to a friends kids school fundraiser, none of the choices were any good ;)

I see, so when your subscription is up you can write them a scathing letter telling them why you won’t renew. Be sure to use the prepaid envelope that they will send you with the renewal. They hate that.

it’s funny after how those marines’ brothers liberated the concentration camps, eugenics ceased to be taken seriously as a valid scientific study and everyone scrambled to distance themselves from it as quickly as possible. i wonder where the green Auschwitz will take place.

I think that must be how they get most of their new subs. My son got nailed at Best Buy, I think for a two year subscription. During that time he graduated high school and then joined the Air Force. I duly forwarded him all his mail. To include all the weekly TIME mags I never saw him read at home.

Then one day he sends me an email that said, "STOP! Don't send me anymore of those TIME magazines!!" Went on to say he couldn't take how much liberal crap they printed in each issue.

Every time I get one of those prepaid envelopes, I mail it back with lots of paper stuffed inside, among other items.

Time and many other Liberal outlets MUST start doing pieces on the “winning of the war on global warming” because they know full well NONE of the doom predictions will happen so to justify the decades or two of government interference in our lives they will start to slowly say that we won it and changed it so as to not look like the total jackasses they really are for the promotion of this most recent cult religion.

The really fun part is when they send you another chance to renew.
They will include a prepaid envelope. Tape that envelope to a brick or an old phone book and drop that in the mail box. It will get delivered and they will get the message really fast.
I have even taped prepaid envelopes to logs.

I think sending feces through thee mail would be considered biological terrorism.
But it would be kind of funny.
