Do the Freepers in the know, know:

What are the “components”?

How Breaking Tech are they?

What percentage of the project are they?

In other news, mass suicide is reported among US Air Force avionics technicians calling supplier tech support.

Seriously though, this is insane and a gross national security risk.

lol I dont think its as big a risk. Nothing that does not meet quality standards will find itself eventually in the Super hornet. Boeing will make sure of it.

What was that recently about Boeing should get the Air Force Tanker contracts over Northrop/EADs, to keep jobs in America?

Boeing has to do this to get the MRCA contract from India. Remember that the amount of offsets is only 50% of that contract. So the total value (jobs ) will be negligible compared to the overall boeing jobs in the US.

Heck, Why not just outsource them to the ChiComs? Skip the middleman. I’m sure they will continue to deliver parts during a shooting war...

Not even National Security is sacred anymore.

We have learned that with our so-called "border security."

Sounds to me more like some companies like bristol Aerospace in Canada and another in Montreal are going to loose some contracts.

We shouldn’t be surprised at this when US soldiers wear French berets made in China.

Outsourcing our military equipment will help bring about international peace. The US can’t go to war with any nation that supplies arms or equipment to our military. /s/

I recall it has already happened. Or were they Vietnam-made uniforms?

Hasn’t Obama promised to punish any companies who outsource their work to other countries?

Our national defense needs should NEVER be outsourced period. Can't we do at least one thing for ourselves anymore?

Obama now supports the tanker deal with Northrop Grumman?
