Is anyone watching Fox & Friends? I only caught a bit of their segment in the 7 a.m. hour and it sounded like they were applauding Rev. Wright. Brian said that he was back on his game. The only clip they played was “Barack Hussein, Barack Hussein...” Only Gretchen said that Wright was going to hurt Barry.

I’m not seeing much news at all about the speech. The general meme seems to be that Wright “redeemed” himself with a speech about respecting one another’s differences.
Of course, I saw it differently. He wasn’t calling for respect...he was arguing for NO STANDARDS. Nothing is right or wrong because that concept is based on “european” standards. There’s no correct way to speak. No correct educational standard. No correct religion. Etc. It’s the ultimate moral-equivalence argument. And next it will be “We have no obligation to respect your LAWS”.
I think the media is deliberately underplaying last night’s speech and want the “right wing” to take it on. After Rush et al finish pointing out the absurdness, then the MSM will be able to label it “partisan”.
I have been surfing around this morning- missed that exchange. Wright is set to speak in 15 minutes at the National Press Club. MSNBC is covering it live- I expect CNN and FOX will as wekk. Thinking about another live thread- why do you think? his topic this morning will be different..

It sounded like Wright was arguing that we go back to separate schools for blacks, because they are ‘right-brained’ and think/learn differently than whites.
His rantings made me much more conscious of my own whiteness. It would seem that there is no way to bridge the gap between the races. He is just another race pimp who is profiting from the divisions.
But Barack Obama listened to this fool and decided that this is the guy who should give him and his children spiritual direction. If this doesn’t disqualify Obama from ever becoming President, nothing will.
