Wow. You can't make this stuff up. Some people break their necks falling off chairs while changing light bulbs. This guy falls 500’ down a mineshaft and lives to face charges and make restitution. :)
Did anybody find a picture of the entire wall he fell down? The AP link has a few pictures but none that shows the scope of the fall.
The story does not mention if alcohol was involved.
