Who Had the Fairer Panel: Meet the Press or Fox News Sunday?
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 04/27/2008 11:48:40 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

For a moment, let's step away from the commentary, per se, and focus on the commentators. Liberals love to chide Fox News for its alleged conservative bias. So why don't we see, when it comes to being fair and balanced, how this morning's Fox News Sunday panel stacked up against that of its main competitor, Meet the Press?

Here are the line-ups--you be the judge.

MEET THE PRESS

Host–Tim Russert

Panel

* David Broder–Washington Post columnist * John Dickerson–Slate * Gwen Ifill–PBS * Andrea Mitchell–NBC * Richard Wolffe–Newsweek

Bill Kristol announces—I am with her! I am with her! Bill thinks Mrs. C. is a much better candidate.

I was thinking of writing Tim and asking why he can’t get a conservative on the panel.

Near as I could tell 3 people on one side of the table, 2 on the other. Was the 2 supposed to be the “right” side of things? I don’t recognize them. Ya think we could have at least ONE really “right” conservative or would that be stacking the deck too much for them

I can’t stand the SEG and comments of Krisol so any other panel is better.

And some are also beginning to suggest that Bigot Bill Clinton may be subconsiously working toward an Obama victory, these days.

Because it wouldn't be fare to the other 4 Liberals (5 if you include Timmy!) That would be like throwing a chunk of rancid anthrax coated liver on 4 beautifully frosted cupcakes of pure tolerance and love!

I know she's a hopeless left-wing dingbat, but I've always thought that Mara Liasson was just gorgeous.

Of course, being a little bit of a dingbat just makes her all that much sexier.

Plus, she somehow managed to squeeze out a l'il 'un [or was it a pair of l'il 'uns?] at the ripe old age of - what, 51? or 52? - which gets major league browny points in my book.

So Fox is definitely fairer.

I used to really dislike Juan but his balanced appraisal of BHO has elevated him in my opinion.
