It may be folly or even apostasy - but only in the eyes of some - to do this mere hours after another Earth Day has passed. But, as we see it, now is the perfect time to praise courageous men, those who persistently stick to their own data and conclusions as they swim against the gadarene tide of global warming. Men like William Gray and Patrick Michaels.

Mr. Gray, a professor of atmospheric science at Colorado State, is the world's pre-eminent authority on hurricanes. He is also an outspoken foe of the global-warming "consensus," one who has testified before Congress, delivered numerous speeches, and penned myriad articles on the subject.

Mr. Michaels, a professor of environmental sicence at University of Virginia, knows the feeling all too well, though he is reputed to be the nation's most popular lecturer on the subject of global warming. But he, too, is a warming "skeptic." This mindset was most recently revealed in his commentary piece - "Our Climate Numbers Are a Big Old Mess" - in Friday's Wall Street Journal.

It appears Mr. Gray will survive long enough to be vindicated. As an aside, I woke up early Saturday morning and had to scrape about an inch of ice and snow from my car windshield before I could go anywhere. Such has never happened this late in the year in my life.

Anyway, the latest drivel I have heard from the global warmists is that changes in solar activity can briefly "mask" the evil that men do while we destroy our planet in a giant greenhouse.

The warmists better hurry inflicting their own cure on mankind. During the last ten years the earth hasn't cooperated with them, and in the last twelve months the earth has scoffed at them. Pretty soon even dolts like Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich will need to put a sock in it.

The touchstone of man caused global warming, the so-called “hockey stick” graph was total bunk as some historic climatic changes were “conveniently” omitted and the scale of the graph was changed to skew the data. However, the Algorians have never abandoned this graph and keep using it as proof the world is melting. Of course the MSM has never seriously reported the flaws in this “hockey stick” model.

Patrick Michaels and Robert Balling Jr., writing in Satanic Gasses published in 2002, present the fact that the IPCC's original reports were indeed cooked, through distortions in the interpretation of the data introduced into the report after it had been signed off by its editors. The fraudulent changes were never acknowledged or corrected, but the paper trail is there and documented.
