Fool the rubes in Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Penn...and try to make it chic, like the Marine’s who've disgraced the uniform as porn stars.

Still, at least he doesn’t have Che’s picture on, like his staff did at one of his Texas offices...Che Obama bin Laden. Sounds soooo chic.

“I’d tell him to take it off, too! He is unfit to wear that shirt.”

As a combat veteran, I am offended that Obama had that shirt on. I don't care what anyone says, his views of his country and the military are not that of this country.
You state it succinctly, he is unfit.

This clip was on our local news last night--apparently, he played a little "pick-up game" at a local Indiana high school, prior to a speech he gave.

The choice of t-shirt really makes you wonder, "is there anything these pols won't stoop to, in order to score a political point?" Can you imagine his staffers, scrambling about at the last minute--"we got a photo op in a gymnasiium, get us something military. I mean, it'd be one thing if it were a well-worn t-shirt with sweat stains; I'd probably have a little more respect for the guy.

Hilary isn't immune from this pandering either. Wasn't it just last week, she was sporting a Catholic-oriented bracelet, complete with images of the Virgin Mary, while campaigning in Pennsylvania?

Probably tied to the recent defense of Rev. Wright by saying he must be a patriot because he served as a Marine.

Of course, Lee Harvey Oswald was also a Marine...

Army Civilian employee for almost 20 years and deployed to Iraq for the past 8 months. And I still do not believe I have earned the right to wear an ARMY tee shirt.

I know exactly how you feel. When I was young and living with my parents, we were all Marines. From dad to mom to all us kids, we were a USMC family. I had the ID card to prove it. :) At that time I would proudly wear a USMC t-shirt. As a little kid I considered myself a Marine... I must have been because I lived on a Marine Base. :)

But after I grew up and had my own family I have not felt the right to wear a USMC t-shirt, though I am an avid supporter of the Devil Dogs and will always stand respectfully when they go by. (Neither have I earned the right to stand at attention)

I still recall how bad I felt when I turned 18 and I had to turn in my ID card. In hindsight, I should have enlisted right then and there... but I didn't, and I'll never deserve to wear a USMC t-shirt for that decision. God Bless the United States of America and every one of her men and women in uniform... AND the supporting cast of civilian employees! <<--that means YOU! :)

Thanks for your service!

His handlers read my posts. People in Indiana are extremely extreme sports fanatics. He is pandering that's all.

No, I was a Monarchist at the University of Maryland. The point is that the USMC T-shirt is not in the same category of the khaki uniform.

The point is sailing over your grape. It’s one thing for a wannabe college puke to wear a t-shirt. It’s another for an America hating, racist, anti-military, Commie like Obama to wear one for a photo-op.

DOMESTIC ENEMIES TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

ARE LINED UP BEHIND CANDIDATE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

I AM THE ONE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

And, if that is not enough, just ask yourself, why Che Guevara, who was a radical, murderous Marxist revolutionary in Argentina, Cuba, and Bolivia, and who became Fidel Castro's chiefexecutioner...why is his picture proudly diplayed proudly at Obama election Headquarters?

All of this ties together and any American of any stripe who values their individual liberty should study these things out for themselves, throw off the chains of the governmental dole and public largess, of the indoctinration and propoganda dealt out by liberal academia, and then act and vote accordingly.

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - OBAMA'S CIRCLE OF FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY AND OBAMA'S CHURCH

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH - BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

Not ever having served in the military myself (not unlike Obama), I would never dream of showing such disrespect to those who have by wearing any type of armed forces paraphernalia, let alone a T-shirt that might lead someone to assume that I am a U.S. Marine.

That T-shirt should only be worn by those who served.

Obama continues to disgust me.

“Not ever having served in the military myself (not unlike Obama), I would never dream of showing such disrespect to those who have by wearing any type of armed forces paraphernalia, let alone a T-shirt that might lead someone to assume that I am a U.S. Marine.”

In principle, I believe you are right.

However, I wear a small (1/2 inch) Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on the lapel of my jacket in honor of my son, who is a Marine. It was a Christmas gift from him.

I have been approached by a number of Marines (past and present), and when asked about the pin, my answer is that I did not serve, but that my son is on active duty, and I wear it to honor him. I have never had anybody object; instead, this usually opens a great discussion about the Corps, their own service, and their admiration and good wishes for the current generation of Devil Dogs. It also gives me the opportunity to thank them for their own service.

So, although I am hardly unbiased, I would cut the parents and spouses (and kids) of service members a break in this regard. There is a bumper sticker alluding to this: “Marine Mom - Toughest Job in the Corps”

Best

Showed him playing basketball???? Isn’t that a sport that blacks excel in?

It sure as hell isn't bowling!

It's not illegal to wear the USMC shirt, but I put it in the category of a married man taking off his wedding ring to pick up chicks. Back in my single days, I would consider a guy in a USMC shirt to be prime choice, and would be extremely disappointed to find out he wasn't a Marine after wasting valuable time flirting.

Even with the shirt on, though, I would have no trouble picking Obama as a skinny poser.
