Well, to me, that body looks awfully long. Maybe it’s just perspective of the photo, or maybe the guy was very tall. The eyewitness report in Surfer mag said he was a very big, well-built man in his 50's.

That could have been me, but I'm not all that tall.
I spent a lot of time in the surf in years past, very scary.
