Ever notice all this crap happens in BLUE STATES? You wanna know why? Because if an anti-war protestor hit a little kid holding a camera, or attacked a crippled girl, that 'ol boy would be more crippled than the girl was after we got finished with him. And, when he complained to the cops, they'd simply say, "I didn't see anything."
When John McCain came to Meridian, I went out to NAS meridian to see him (I know what we think about McCain, but he IS the only candidate who supports the war). I was HOPING and PRAYING some peace pansy would show himself, because I always promised my dad (a Vietnam War vet) that I'd kick a Hippy in the Nuts just for him. Yet, the Peace Pansies know better than to show themselves down here in Mississippi.
Interesting point. I wonder if all the B.S. defenses show a similar pattern. As I recall, the Twinkie defense was hatched in true-blue California.
You pegged it. In St. Louis probably 20 years ago, some punks (boyfriend/girlfriend) tried to burn the American flag at the Veterans Day parade downtown.
They got the crap kicked out of them. The TV news crew interviewed the girlfriend who was complaining, ‘Why didn’t the police standing nearby do anything to stop the beating?’
The police answered, ‘We didn’t see anything.’
