CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A controversial commercial making headlines across the country is getting turned away from some TV stations in North Carolina.
WSOC-TV decided not to put the ad on television because of its implications of racism. WSOC-TV believes it is inappropriate to air. It questions Barack Obama's patriotism and judgment.
The ad also said Beverly Perdue and Richard Moore should not be North Carolina's next governor because they endorsed Obama.
Republicans and democrats across the country said the commercial should not air, but North Carolina's Republican Party refuses to pull it.

Can I see it online? Would like to judge for myself.
Put it in the radio. As I recall, WBT in Charlotte is a 50KW clear channel station. The signal goes all the way from FL to Me at night.
Comments about Barack Obama are Racist, just ask him.
Put the ad on YouTube, and let the TV stations do without the ad revenue.
It’s NC.
Around here it’s...
Q. What is an a attack add? A. Any add a Republican or Conservative group runs.
Q. What is a truthful, fact filled add? A. Any add a liberal or Democrat runs.
Horrifying, but not shocking. It’s troubling that the media just decides something is racist because it questions the character of a black man. I’ve heard the ad on the radio and I don’t think it mentions a single thing about race. That won’t stop the media from carrying water for their man, though.
But these same tv stations will promote gay agendas, anti-christian comedy shows, sex, and anything else one considers disgusting.
This is another reason why I think the people who are optimistic about Obama losing are celebrating a little too early. They put a lot of stock into what the right wing 527’s can achieve. Unfortunately if they can’t even get their ads run, there won’t be much impact. Plus the left wing 527s will have a lot more $$ and I’ll bet none of their ads are rejected.
This is exactly what’s going to happen if or when Obama gets the nominee. The media is going to censor the truth about this guy completely.
McCain has a tough race ahead.
That’s it? McCain and the libs have hissy fits because of this ad? LOL! It’s truthful and tame... considering the vitriol the dems throw against Republicans each day.
It already is on YouTube.
On YouTube
I don't even know what that means. The ad I saw had nothing, absolutely NOTHING, to do with race.
Now put on your conservative reality glasses. Our whole society is now geared toward protecting blacks and other minorities. NOT airing this ad is just the latest example of the reverse racism fully entrenched in our society.
Come on, reality time. No one dares utter a racist comment against blacks on tv.
I am proud of NC GOP. The will not back down, just like Senator Helms.
The media is the obstacle.
Any candidate opposing the media’s candidate must figure out how to get his message out despite them, or they have only themselves to blame.
A losing general doesn’t get to complain how UNFAIR it was that the enemy had artillery and he didn’t.
No one cares.
His job was to win — however he could do it — DESPITE their artillery.
