Barack and Michelle Obama are two of a disgusting kind. Their attitudes towards the people they would rule over borders on baronnial arrogance. They are uglier than modern art masterpieces.

...Obama got into trouble by explaining to an affluent San Francisco audience why the cash-strapped, mostly white, working classes in Pennsylvania and the Midwest do not logically vote for his brand of economic populism, but instead cling to issues that sophisticates can see are extraneous to their economic plight. Sophisticates? like the elites?.....like them.............

Something tells me that BHO's mind could never entertain the concept that Americans are bitter because of government's
excesses.
That rather than yearning for more government, Americans long to see less regulation, less taxation and less of their personal productivity squandered by government for handouts to those who are stupid, lazy and ignorant.

Obama is amazed at no matter how much money he throws at some people, he can’t buy their vote. What more do they want? He has promised $4000 per year for college, $1500 per year for working, $1500 per year for not working, free health care, more paid leave, more retirement benefits, etc. What does it take to buy these folks who cling to their Bibles???

Liberalism at its core is elitism. "They"....the masses are too ignorant for their own good and cannot be trusted to make the right decisions about their lives so the beneficent government run by the elites will make these decisions for them. The Obama's were preaching to the crowd in San Fransisco...California is a hot bed for elitist liberals as is New York, Boston and Washington DC. Those of us in fly over country are the "they" Obama referred to.
While the Obama's are very overt in their elitism, Hillary Clinton also is a true elitist. She often uses the imperial "we" and her speeches drip with smarmy condescension.

I learned early on that "they" would not pass the "Popa test" in our house. "They" must have a name or names. This article is a must read! What America doesn't need is another twofer like the Clintons and that is what you would get with the Obamas.

Reminds me of an All In The Family Episode where Archie and George Jefferson are having a heated discussion:
George Jefferson: See Bunker?; Thats the problem with You people, You people...
Archie Bunker: Hold on there a minute, Jefferson. Who are you calling You People. We people arent You People, YOU people are You People!

Obama’s “they” is defined, it’s just not mentioned. It is, of course, ‘Whites’, those folks who stay awake all night figuring out better ways to screw the blacks. What paranoia!

"...arent like them ." I'm still waiting for someone to ask the great obamama to define who the people are that the bitter, typical white, gun-clinging, Bible clutching folk have "antipathy" over.
He was in the arms of San Franciscan elite -
He needs to define both the "they's" and the "them's"?
Meanwhile, this is who I am - and I have a visor hat upon which I painted: "Typical White Person", so I am ready to keep the word out there for the duration, lest 'folk' forget:

about 'arugula"
it's hardly a vital food staple and he made this assinine remark about the price of arugula in Whole Food stores Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula? I mean, theyre charging a lot of money for this stuff.
Probably not too many people he was talking too had "gone into a Whole Food store lately" as he was in a state that has NO Whole Food stores...
this is a gaff that would have been headlines across the land had it been made by McCain

“They” are the ideological enemy, the people who don’t see things the way Obama and his leftist compatriots do.
