25 mothers taken from FLDS ranch now believed to be minors

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Twenty-five mothers staying at a shelter for children taken from a polygamists' compound are now believed to be minors.

Child Protective Services spokesman Darrell Azar says the girls initially claimed to be adults but are now believed to be under 18. The girls are in state custody.

The discovery takes the number of children taken from the ranch controlled by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to 462. The number has been climbing since the state swept all the children off the ranch nearly three weeks ago.

Of the children taken into custody, roughly 260 remain at the San Angelo Coliseum. The others were bused to foster facilities around the state.ate.

the answer given on another thread in a universe far-far away is that the boys are turned out of the sect when they hit puberty....they are dumped onto city streets or anywhere else they can be disposed of....this means that the young girls are the exclusive property of the older men.

That doesn’t explain where the little boys are.

Where is the proof of rape. These girls were married—how is that rape?

You've a few replies....

Are you going to reply?

Yes. There are 35+ underage pregnancies fathered by old men. That’s rape.

“We will have to see how it pans out.”

That’s my problem with this massive custer fluck. While we wait and see how it pans out and before any charges are even brought (as far as I can tell), the state has taken 400 kids away from their mothers. Can’t abide that.

Why do three simple questions make you so uncomfortable? I defended no one. Actually, I made no argument whatsoever.

That's a new record for disingenuousness.

You asked if motherhood was against the law, when you knew full well that the issue was not motherhood but the rape of minors.

By (ineptly) trying to shift the focus from the actions of the rapists to the actions of their victims you were defending them.

It's as if someone had brought up President Clinton's lies under oath about his sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky and a poster wrote: "Is adultery against the law?"

That would be interpreted as an obvious attempt to defend Clinton by deflecting the arguments against his offense down a blind alley.

"Men have no constitutional right not to have their penis cut off with a butcher's knife.”

MUCH better. ;)

I agree.

And while I hope that every case of statuary rape is prosecuted, I also wish that the 430 kids would of been hurt so badly by being taken away like this.

Yeah, we should just let the next crop of girls hit age 12 so their fifty year old uncles can rape them.....with their brainwashed mommmies' help.

PS: The mothers of North African girls help to hold them down while their screaming daughters have their clitorises and labia cut out with razor blades by their aunts.

Sometimes, "mothers' love" is not a free ticket.

How are the kids hurt?

They were bonded to no one, couldn’t identify family, or siblings even. They were not family, just a mass under mass care. And they were worked from sun up to sun down. No toys, games, music, celebrations, playing, daydreaming...being kids.

Like foster kids I had, the joke was “The think they’ve died and gone to Disney World!”

In Texas, girls under 18 must have written permission from both parents to marry. Plural marriage, “spirit marriage” etc is bogus, and doesn’t count. An unmarried pregnant girl under the age of 18 in Texas is presumed to be a rape victim.

So sorry, your beloved “spirit marriage” as unofficial wife number 9 of some 55 year old pervert does NOT count.

Except as RAPE.

“Over age 6 they were too contaminated for the world to be of use to God,” said Wyler, who still lives in Colorado City, Ariz., and has 38 siblings. “He picked the ones that would be the most obedient, the ones that would be qualified to go to Zion.”

IOW, he only wanted fully brain-washable zombie sex slaves.

What a sick and evil man this false prophet is! Raping little brainwashed girls, in the name of god. (sic)

Yep. If the mother is 13 and the "daddy" is a fifty year old pedophile = it's against the law.

You bet on it.

And no - that thin little layer of fake "religion", ugly dresses and "prim" looking children is not a cover for child rape.

What mothers?

They couldn’t point out their mothers for sure and their mothers couldn’t or wouldn’t identify their kids.

There was no tearing weeping kids from their sobbing Mamas. You’re talking a quiet group of kids with no bonds to the adults caring for them being moved to another group of adults to care for them.

Same ole same ole in their lives.

I don’t have a new list, only the one from the public notice found here:

http://www.myeldorado.net/Pages/LegalNotices.html

A lot of children and adults with no full names still being sorted out.
